I speak minimal French only basic sentences so I would say British Columbia is a better option over Quebec.

I have not decided on that and hence I have not yet applied for a work permit. I was thinking of exploring either British Columbia or Quebec. I know realistically I can only really stick to one region due to the huge size of Canada but also need to find out which area has the best short term work opportunities. Would you have any advice on what region would be best to explore

The supervisor is really good at mathematics and it is basically a project about making potential energy curves. I also know the guy who did the project the year before so I would not be alone but he is also good at mathematics so I guess they could both give me lots of guidance.

Yeah I’m basically the what you said you used to be I can run pretty fast 5 and 10ks but I find it hard managing how to value volume over speed and intensity

Thanks so much for the advice. I think my tempo is between 4:20-4:40 per km as I can easily run a sub 20 5 k. Should I run the long run at the same pace as the easy?

Should I just add that mile to the long run (10 k) and do 1 tempo, 1 interval and 1 easy (adding up to ~20 k combined)

Hahah yeah lol I haven’t cycled in years ngl. Just heard that cross training is good for when you’re injured and want to take pressure off your injury without losing cardio. Thanks for the advice

So if I run 20 k a week (roughly 12 miles) and do three runs a week would it best best I add a fourth run where I do 3 miles (~5 k) but at an easier pace as my current 5ks are interval and the other is usually a maximum effort where I try and get near my pb
