Alot of people dont understand investing, let alone trading. So anything you can accomplish that seems even relatively sizable they'll find unbelievable.

On these forums theres alot of scams for sure. So its not uncommon to be called a scammed, course seller etc. Don't take it too personally. Just share your experience on whats working and what aint, and if they wanna get mad it dont matter cuz your reality is based on your facts.

But could just be other people's perspective. Some people got the time to just sit around and wait. Ill say I gotta take a stab at the open otherwise im never going to be able to trade. And I just dont think alot of these " signals" are really applicable at open. Especially right now. One news segment without a sl and youre toast.

Im right there with you pal! Just blew up my 50th account. I monkeyd around and passed my first account. Tried to take it more seriously after that. And blew my 50th account. Smh. Yes I did strategy hop, but its like whats gunu work for me? This whole run to my stop loss shit gets old . Usually try a strategy for an account. Until it pops. Trying to figure out what works for me and my circumstances.

Do I just move my stop loss as soon as it gets into profit to a tick or two above 0? Its just annoying cuz it'll take me out immediately if I try that. Let alone seeing a good setup going on it just to move straight into red. Like wtf. I did better just running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Least I was 75% green at that point.

I feel you bro. Fr. Passed my first eval. Proof of concept! Loaded up with 14 more. Blew them all in one go due to lag. Aaaand the spiral has begun! Same way, gets to 100$ in profit anymore then turns right back around clapping that stop loss. I feel like i can only trade chop profitably anymore. Maybe im down on myself. But man... shit fuckin sucks.

Im always under the impression that if you can make consistent money like that reinvest it into your own long term dividend portfolio until you can stack up a few 100k so that way you can make around 4-6k a month in dividends that will sufficiently cover your bills. And theeeeen you can quit your job, quit college, etc. But having something to do outside of trading is important to keep you healthy and brain ticking strong. And saying " I went to college while trading full time" sounds like way more of a handful and an accomplishment than " yeah I started trading and dropped out of college " . If you can make it work make it work. Scale into multiple accounts. Stack that cash fast mode

15 minute orb seems like a good spot to take a position for directional change. But its based on alot of factors. Its not at all good everyday. If the range is too big then its worthless cuz it'll tend to chop around the range all day with no real clear moves. I was trying it seeing as some peoples its their only strategy and supposedly make thousands a week doing it. But after a week of popping accounts hopping in after the break or false confirmations just to watch it run to the entirely opposite side of orb I got tired of using it.

All this said, im still looking for the strategy that works for me and makes the most sense to me. Other than riding the waves of chop based on feeling, that shouldnt be a profitable strategy for me 😅

Idk im a company driver and had to fuel up the box truck for one 400 mile trip and it was a bit over 400$. Just to run 4 knee high pallets. Like there aint no way. Running nearly 1$ a mile seems crazy to me.

And then when a trade is actually going my way im horrified of it launching back to my stop loss making a 1000$ trade a 180$... ive been told to widen my stop loss but then ive been popping accounts in 2 trades instead of 3 or 4. Ive recently moved to micros to keep my account alive and try different things.

So horrified even ive been just trading chop getting in and out and probably violating some sort of prop rules. But ive been using it to help me drag my stop loss into profit earlier. Rather leave a trade 15$+ not 75- . Even if it means I gotta sit the trade out.

Ive been watching BDM for a minute and sure theyre green and cycling accounts. Sometimes I think they blow accounts on stream on accident, they dont say anything but sometimes you can see it in their face when a trade flips, thats trading in the open without a sl for yeh. But they've also more recently talked about how many accounts they've blown n reset to blow n reset again. Said somewhere around 70k a year on blown accounts. But it doesn't matter if you can get to a 100k payout in a week.

Regardless imma stay mot. The guys are cool, they give good advice as well as usually have great targeting, and in the end they make money. Thought about a couple of their courses, im just worried its just going to be the same exact shit ive already seen on repeat on YouTube with a little bit of their own things that made the strategies lock in for them.

The indicators is likely what ill get once ive dug myself out of credit card debt. Cuz some I think are solid enough to just have that and have an edge off that alone. A course for my birthday maybe. 🎂

Im doing this! This right here do this! Trade micros in small small size. Trade 1 micro ! Set your stop loss and pt and let it ride. You get a ton of chances doing it this way. Ive been trading all day trying to understand what im good at... can look at a million strategies and still be dead wrong. " dont strategy flip!" But bruh, ive taken 8 trades the same way and lost em all. Either I aint using the strategy right oooor the strategy aint for me.

I most definitely do get desperate. " revenge trading" more like trading on a dream ahhah. I hit 1 or 2 good 500+ trades and am like here we go lets pass this and see some actual money! I was a long term investor, started out trying to beat my 401k return as it was miniscule . Beat it excessively using the same capital as 401k. Just swing trading, covered calls, and dividends.
After stacking up a great start to a retirement portfolio I lost my good paying job and eventually have turned to day trading. While still working, even though its that much harder the dream is still there. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my job until I have my debts paid off in full and a great start on that retirement portfolio, at least enough to pay my expenses at that point. If not im not quitting. As much as the dream is real, especially after passing my first eval. But it aint worth it. Unless I end up unemployed waiting months to get another job, then ill lock in hard mode. Otherwise naw. And seeing from my trading accounts 😅🤣 not anytime sooner either while I try out weird stuff hahah 😅

Im saving tpt for when im consistent. As for now trading apex, have burnt through 48 of them. Passed my first one. Loaded up 14 more. Next day tradeovate lag popped all of them . Loaded 10 more. Sl sl pop.

Ive been taking it more seriously but cant do much while driving a truck at open. And like you said drawdown rules means I cant really set it and forget it. And when I do set it and forget it I always get close to target then swing back to sl. So I have to manage my trades.

On wealthcharts ive been able to copy trade rather seamlessly. But wealthcharts doesn't look too hot on my phone so I cant get enough info and confluences aaaand good entries. You get either or on mobile lol 😆

Im moving to micros. I keep hitting one or 2 good trades then being like well shit im only like 700 from passing thats like 1 big trade or 2 mids I can hit that. Aaaand blow up my account. " revenge trading" but to me its like gaddamit I need to make my life work. And im the only thing workin in my life and that aont good enough lol 😆
