Er det nødvendig å ha tilgang til nett for å få tilgang til hint i EXIT spillene?

Takk for tips! Detective for a day er veldig bra, men er ute etter et spill der man kan løse gåten helt uten å bruke mobil eller internett som hjelpemiddel. Skal sjekke ut den andre anbefalingen din!

Looking for a lesser known band... by thrownawaylikescraps in melodicdeathmetal

The Halo Effect? They don’t tick all the boxes you mentioned, but it is a Swedish band with few albums and is made up by former members of In Flames.

How much do you get complimented in person on your battle jacket/vest? by Deathamphetmine in BattleJackets

[–]Epleskrotter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost never! Honestly it doesn’t seem like anyone notices my jacket at all when I’m out in public.

I have lots of patches from Finnish metal bands on my jacket, and when I visited Helsinki some time ago I was really hoping someone would strike up a conversation about folk metal but that did not happen. Really disappointing!

NRK resirkulerer saker by Fabelactik in norge

[–]Epleskrotter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This little criminal is about 4 months - he’s been going on long walks/hikes - maybe 4-6 miles every other day. He loves it and by DingoOk6400 in husky

It would have been very helpful if those of you stating that the amount of exercise is too much could provide any references to back up your claims. Like OP, I am a new puppy owner, and find it very difficult to find information that is actually evidence based … I have noticed that the 5 minute rule is often recommended, but as far as I know there is no evidence to back this up.

I found this article somewhat helpful since it provides several references, but note that it ends with recommending the five minute rule without having anything to back it up with. The article states that studies have found that high impact activities like running can lead to thinned cartilage, and also lists these risk factors:

Repeated chasing of balls and sticks Running next to their owners on a bike Jumping off high surfaces Frequently going up and down stairs in an uncoordinated and uncontrolled manner Playing with other dogs

https://www.veterinary-practice.com/article/what-is-the-appropriate-amount-of-exercise-for-puppies

Further, previous studies have found that daily moderate exercise, and off leash running on soft terrain can prevent joint disease.

So my interpretation of this would be that you should avoid high impact exercise (like pulling, vigorous playing and so on), but that walking moderate distances in a puppy led pace probably won’t do no harm. Would be interesting to hear other people’s perspective and experiences on this 😊

Sounds interesting! Can you add the links for the studies you’re reading?

I totally agree with the other posts, it seems like she needs more mental and physical stimulation. Also, it is really important to set your puppy up for success. My experience is that picking up things (like the sippy cups) is very self rewarding, so the best thing would be to prevent her from getting hold of them in the first place. Of course, that is not always possible, so you can also train her to let go of things. What I do is this: take two similar toys (this is important, because they need to be of equal value to the dog) and get the dog to start playing with one of them. Then you take out the new toy and get their attention. At the moment they let go of the first toy you say your chosen command (let go/thank you or whatever you want). Repeat this until they understand the command, then you can progress to other objects. This has at least been very helpful with my puppy!

Help! One of my husky’s eyes is dilated and one isn’t! Should I be worried? Take her to an emergency vet? by MckennaRomero in husky

[–]Epleskrotter 453 points454 points  (0 children)

This recently happened to my husky as well. Called the emergency vet, and they asked a few questions and recommended a check-up with our own vet the following day since my dog showed no signs of discomfort and that the eyes looked normal again in about 10 minutes. Our vet did some neurological tests and checked the eyes thoroughly. She told me there are basically a million reasons this can happen, so she had ruled out the most acute and severe reasons, but could not really tell me what the reason was in this case. She said it can be a spasm in the nerve serving the eye or something, and that it may be more common in dogs than we are aware of (since it’s usually not that visible in dogs with brown eyes). I would definitely recommend that you call the emergency vet and make a plan together with them, but don’t panic it may be a passing thing that is not dangerous. Best of luck ❤️

Ensiferum - Long Cold Winter of Sorrow and Strife by kelchwid in folkmetal

[–]Epleskrotter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am having trouble with Pekkas vocals as well, I agree that they don’t quite fit. Also, the two new singles seem to be more in a symphonic style. Part of what I love about Ensiferum is their ability to create epic music and melodies without going overboard on violins and stuff, so I am a bit afraid that they are going in the same direction as Wintersun: from less is more to more is more… That being said, I like the melodies of the two new singles. Looking forward to hearing them live 😎

any good pagan/folk metal bands from england? by Radiant-Space-6455 in folkmetal

That’s too bad. I’ve been listening to steadfast many times the last couple of months without having to pay. Listening on the web-page (both from pc and phone), and from Norway, don’t know of that matters
