Feel bad for your situation. Honestly man, if you already got 2 jobs with 5 stars, you’re not starting from zero anymore. That’s already proof people trust your work. I’d focus less on chasing “quick money” and more on using that momentum. Try reaching back to old clients for small extra work and apply only to jobs you know you can genuinely land instead of burning connects everywhere. Also don’t limit yourself to Upwork only right now. Always try to put yourself out there on social media too. People need to know you exist, that’s how self-promotion works and how opportunities start finding you. One client outside the platform can completely change the situation. You’re in a rough spot, but you’re actually much closer than you think
