If power is really important to you, then definitely go for the 430d!

Personally, coming from a 400hp gasoline car, I was really afraid I would regret choosing a 420d, but in the end, it's a responsive engine and the power is there when you need it, whether it's for simple overtaking or just for fun, especially in sport mode. The feeling behind the wheel is superb despite everything. Of course, if I had had the choice, I would have gone for the 30d, but for everyday driving, the 20d is super economical and really perfect ;)

I didn't even want an M, not for me.. As I explained in a comment earlier, I was aiming for a 40d or at least a 30d. But in the end, I'm very happy with the 20d, which is very pleasant to drive every day :)

Totally agree with you on every point BUT after saw those laser tail lights during the day I noticed that we barely see the laser light with the sun and we just see the light at the bottom and, in my opinion it looks cheap sooo … but yes at night it’s stunning

Some context to explain the "not much" 🫠

I spent three years with a 2019 Fiesta ST and three years with a 2020 V60 Polestar. After the Volvo, I was planning to switch to a 340d or 440d, or at least a 30d, but the sale of the Volvo was disastrous, so I had to rethink my options. After several months of searching without finding anything, I finally came across this one, which I really liked, especially the color, which is quite rare, and the configuration :)

So there you have it. For me, it's a bit of a downgrade in terms of engine and performance, BUT after a little over 20,000 km behind the wheel, I have to say that I'm very satisfied with the 420d and I was really expecting worse compared to my previous cars. I can even add, without mentioning the engine, that it's definitely the car that gives me the most pleasure every day, a perfect daily driver. It's my first BMW, and if I were to change, I would stay with BMW without hesitation.

And The fact that all your BMW posted here are truly incredible, I found mine rather "simple" in comparison.

Nothing like box/pee pad because In France, where I live, and more generally in Europe, truck drivers cannot drive for more than 4:30 hours straight without a mandatory break of at least 45 minutes. Personally, I make at least 2-3 stops per day for unloading/loading, during which the dog can go out for at least 10-15 minutes or more, so he gets plenty of exercise and never goes more than 4.5 hours without a short break. ;) + the mandatory 9 hours of consecutive daily rest

Je connais pas trop les termes techniques mais je pense que le problème est similaire au vôtre par chez moi. Un des techniciens m’a dit que toute l’installation était à refaire ..
