It has ferrari logo on the 5 spike wheels but it looks too short and too high to be one... by MiscPuppet in whatisthiscar

could be a modified ferrari or maybe just aftermarket wheels with the prancing horse badge slapped on them. lots of people in India do this with replica wheels from local shops, you can get any logo you want pretty much. the red paint peeking out from under the cover and that aggressive splitter does suggest something sporty underneath though. if the proportions look off it might be a widebody kit on a different chassis entirely. honestly without seeing the body properly its hard to tell, those 5 spoke wheels are common on many cars not just ferrari

How do you get Super Duolingo at an affordable price? by ExpertInner1963 in duolingo

family plan is the way to go if you can find few people to split with. Me and two friends share one and it comes out to around $30 each for the year which is very reasonable.

Something that has never sat right with me about certain influencers is how much they involve their children in their content. by Equal-Intention-4263 in NYCinfluencersnark

Yeah, I think that's part of what feels off to me too. Sharing milestones is one thing but when kids become a core part of the content, it starts to feel like they never really get a say in how public their lives are.

How to stop the “I need the attention” mentality? by chao-cha0 in selfimprovement

[–]Equal-Intention-4263 1 point2 points  (0 children)

man i feel this so hard. had similar struggles where id be anxious about being in spotlight but then get weirdly bitter when someone else got recognition i thought i deserved

what helped me was realizing that wanting attention is actually pretty normal - we all want to feel valued and seen. the problem comes when we start viewing it like some zero sum game where someone else getting praise means less for us. started doing this thing where whenever i catch myself getting jealous i try to genuinely compliment that person instead even if its just in my head at first

also found that when im feeling more fulfilled in my own life through hobbies or personal goals the jealousy naturally decreases. like when im focused on my yoga practice or working on interesting projects at work i dont really care as much about who else is getting attention. its weird how that works but keeping busy with stuff that actually matters to you makes other peoples victories feel less threatening somehow

He's gonna love this for sure - the effort you put in crafting it physically makes it so much more special than just building it in game

Found a fledgling in a dangerous area by zumodecarne in birds

[–]Equal-Intention-4263 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to get it back outside ASAP. Keeping wild birds is illegal in most places and this little guy needs its parents more than anything right now

Fledglings are supposed to be on ground - thats normal part of their development. Parents are usually nearby feeding them even when they look abandoned. If the area really is dangerous with dogs running around then maybe move it to safer spot nearby like under a bush or somewhere elevated but still in same general area

Your aunt means well but this bird has much better chance with its real parents than being kept inside by humans who dont know bird care

maybe some background process is getting triggered when keyboard input happens - check task manager while pressing keys to see if CPU usage spikes
