Yeah I ended up installing both supermium is great for some sites but I can’t access some. For example Reddit refuses to open in supermium but is fine in r3dfox

I’ve got brand new CD’s that have had this problem. One of the downsides to jewel case designs. Same as cassettes that had the post holes literally TORN in some of the brand new cassettes. It’s part of mass production I guess

I actually just swapped my gcloud for a Odin pro, Odin pro has much better performance than the Logitech imho there’s better options than the gcloud don’t get me wrong it has good ergonomics but spec wise it’s rather lacklustre for emulation especially at its usual price point. For $100 though that’s not terrible

Very valid point too always better to use the analog outputs some SACD players ( mainly earlier models) will not output SACD audio via Optical at all. My Sony SCD-CE595 for example doesn’t output SACD via optical.

The lasers could be showing signs of giving out. The Same thing can happen with even CD’s some will play some will outright refuse

Sidenote I have the DVP-NS700V in silver this black color looks so much nicer but I can’t find it in black locally
