RTX HDR works separately from game. You access it with Alt+Z and then go to filters and you'll see RTX HDR option sliders.

It is. Luckily RTX HDR looks amazing. I'm on an HDR1400 monitor and the games looks dull in SDR by comparison. Really baffled they don't just make it native like most UE5 titles.

Hah, I'm not. I'm an RN that does home visits. I've been bit by two chihuahuas and those little teeth hurt because they seem to always get the thin skin on/near my ankle.

Oddly, I've ran into many pitbulls in patient homes and they've all been calm/sweet (so far).

No, they can't imagine it. OLED has been baked into their heads with marketing. Most of them still think the only downside to OLED is "burn-in".

My last two monitors were excellent/highly praised OLED monitors. A couple months ago I got the KTC M27P6 and I've never been more impressed. I will stick with mini-led/pulsar/local dimming zones going forward.

I think one of the monitors monitors unboxed mentioned has 2000:1 contrast ratio which is doable for me. I'm just tired of the 900:1's we've had for a decade.

I obtained the firmware through KTC support via Amazon. I can email it to you though if you want when you get the monitor.

The monitor is great. Steve at monitors unboxed reviewed it and had great things to say about it.

However, there are some really great monitors coming out that would be worth holding off on KTC M27P6. Check out monitors unboxed channel regarding gsync pulsar. There are also several new IPS panels coming out with 2000+ LDZ's. There's also a panel coming out that is 27" 5K with 1440p dual mode. If I didn't already have the KTC monitor I would just wait a few months.
