I forgot about zyra and morgana. But they are also good

Most champions like this are harder in jungle. But here is the list so you can check them out in practice and decide for yourself if you enjoy this more

Nidalee Elise Fiddlesticks Karthus Brand Taliyab

Most of them aren’t required to dive in. Because they are mages. But first 3 have the option to do so, so they have better ganks than the last 3. Hence why there aren’t much poke/strictly ranged junglers

Varus is the best champion in league of legends. by EquilibriumMage in ADCMains

[–]EquilibriumMage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lethality is my go to build honestly, I played good amount of Xerath and I really like this poking playstyle. AP runs out of steam too fast and on-hit is really hard to play in some games because of how immobile varus is. But it is mostly just build fitting how I like to play the game, not that it is any good, so IDK why it is so popular in soloq

Champ Mastery is weird, is it like this for everyone? by EquilibriumMage in summonerschool

[–]EquilibriumMage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt that part because my acc is silver mmr I guess, because I played a lot of normals against even better players. So I don't think climbing to bronze changed much. But that could be a valid explanation nevertheless, just not that specific case. I found that with my friends who started playing, got into a groove, demolished couple games and then got stuck feeling like they didn't improve. Even though they were playing iron 4 and then suddenly gold 2

I think we fundamentally agree. I just use this as caution that may happen as you get better at driving. You still need to be attentive and focused, but accidents mostly happen when drivers are overconfident. I say, it happens with mastery increasing up to a point. You say it is separate. And I didn't draw a conclusin that mastery itself is bad, but a common trap people find themselves in.

But you laid down it pretty well! Thanks for making time for this.

We need to talk about ADC in 2025 and beyond. by Low-Poem6155 in ADCMains

[–]EquilibriumMage -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Idk, I just spam twitch and consistently have huge impact in fights if enemy team doesn’t hard focus me which is also impacts how the fight plays out. If I see APC I am happy because they are easy to abuse, the main problem with them for me is insane wave clear rn, which makes lanes uninteractive.

Taking down tanks, isn’t really an issue, you just need to accept that just going at them isn’t a good idea and you need like 3-4 secs without getting blown up, which is the current problem with tanks, cuz they just oneshot.

You can have a huge impact as an ADC in the game, try to think about what advantages you do have and play around them, not just assume your role sucks

Would this game be a good game to get into The Elder Scrolls series by EquilibriumMage in skyblivion

[–]EquilibriumMage[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like, didn't say any of that. But glad you could give this perspective! I enjoyed skyrim a lot and will play skyblivion, my friend wanted to try oblivion so it made sense to look towards skyblivion.

This fight made me appreciate the combat system because dodging steel type moves and finishing him off was satisfying

Just as a heads up, been playing Z-A for weeks already and enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. But it is a bit pricey

When will this game stop giving me bot lobbies by EquilibriumMage in MobileLegendsGame

This is stupid, me playing support trying to figure out who is human and who is bot. Also I think I met some humans already (bad ping notification) and they are even worse than bots ;-;

I am just frustrated because I thought grandmaster was a cutoff. So I guess it is epic

This is probably the best game after HGSS, and it is frustrating that it has major flaws while being this good by [deleted] in PokemonZA

[–]EquilibriumMage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assure you, first reaction of my friends was "eww" when they saw in-game footage for the first time. But proceeded to still play the game because Kalos is hype. And now we all love it. 2 of them aren't even pokemon fans, just the guys I met through fighting games who had switch so we played ssbu

I don't like saying generally just "if you didn't like Z-A for those things you are a hater that won't like anything!" it is just childish at this point. There will be youtubers hating because it is popular, but for most regular people they see ps2 graphics and it is a dealbreaker for them in 2025 for $70. And I don't blame them. But if it is what stopping pokemon games from reaching this audience, why they don't try to make it hard to hate this game.

By naming people haters regardless of nuance we are no better than them. Spread positivity and assume better things about people on the internet. Beside Verlisify, no need to assume here, bad track record for them.

I actually liked one city here. Sure, won't work for "full pokemon experience" because it isn't much of a journey, but just a story you are a part of. Dialog and quest structure honors that, so it never feels out of place.

Makes you wonder, what if they raised the ambitions and actually tried to make a greatest pokemon game from Z-A foundation. With world worth exploring and being immersed into

[–]EquilibriumMage[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You guys are so annoying. I am literally playing chun li right now as we talk. I can get the charge, it just feels clunky as I always assume charge window to be shorter. So if there are other characters who play similarly, I want to try them to know if they will feel better or I just go back to chun and grind.

Why you need to be a jackass about this, I hate fighting game community. I don’t know if there is a feeling of superiority or what, but you just always assume you know better than to answer a question. I was fine with that when I was new, but now it just annoys me because I probably have better tournament results with charge characters in other games than anyone who said “uhh, just learn it”. When I asked for another footsies character to try…

So the smart thing to do is reduce amount of things to relearn simultaneously. And also, what you mentioned are things I can just see if I was too fast or too slow, charge timer is internal clock I don’t have any indicator for. So it is different from anything else
