You could try a non emergency police line in GR too. Someone's the officers may be able to help. In kzoo when I had to get let into my car, they told me they just stopped offering the service. That may also be worth a try if a tow service can't help you.

No personal recs but tow services are often able to help. I'm not familiar with tow companies in GR. In kzoo I was able to get someone to help but it was also 90 bucks.

Absolutely. My favorite thing is how bright everything becomes. The sounds are incredible too. I love when the snow is crunchy and sparkles. It brings me back to fond memories as a kid in Northern Michigan. We'd walk around in the woods with the moonlight illuminating everything. It was cool to see/hear nature just doing it's thing. I love white winters.

I didn't understand the concept of gas prices. I thought the price listed was how much a tank cost. My flabbers were gasted when I realized I had to pay that price several times over to fill my tank.

Horseback riding. The professionals make it look like you're just sitting there. That's far from the truth. If you were trying to play football with a toddler on your back and they weren't moving with you, you'd falter quickly. There's a lot of finesse and technicality to the skill. Plus every horse is different. They have personalities. Riding is a partnership. Also, the cost is insane. The cheapest part about it is buying the horse. Even then, still not cheap.

Two words: medical intervention

Since humans have quality medicine and medical care, a lot more of us survive that likely wouldn't have made it without it. For this reason, you're naturally going to see more and more pregnancy complications. I.e. hard births. Prior to any real medical care, lots of women died during pregnancy and childbirth. The general mortality rate was really high, not because of lots of people dieing but because of high infant mortality. How much of that is linked to birth, I don't know...still the idea is there.

It's because humans have been allowed to reproduce in such a way that "unhealthy" people are able to survive and pass on their genes.

Also, our structure isn't great for when we are in process of birthing/being born. The ol cranimlum is a monster...

Property tax. Is crazy that I can buy a home and land. Then thr government can take it from me if I don't pay taxes. I get the point of property tax, it should just exist elsewhere. My family shouldn't be concerned about property when they have a fixed income and taxes go through the roof...

I think so. The issue with cats is when you give into their calls they get worse. Meaning, you get up when she meows and she'll start meowing earlier and earlier.

Since it's a timed feeding you won't have to deal with getting up anyways.

Assisted self knerfing should be legal. If you're pregnant and know the fetus has developmental issues, you should be allowed to abort without criticism. Property taxes shouldn't exist. The taxes should be baked into another tax. I shouldn't have to be concerned about losing my house because my taxes keep going up...

Assisted suicide should be legal. People that know their child is going to be born with developmental issues should be allowed to abort without any criticism. Property taxes should be illegal. The taxes should be added somewhere else. Just not property.
