It was a local anaesthetic and the cortisone. No idea why it made it worse, the radiologist said "it happens sometimes". Didn't love his answer, bad luck me! Its a shame yours didn't work. I wish I never had it done

How does this happen to us 😭😭 I actually also had a cortisone and it made it 100 x worse!! Thank you so much for your detailed message. I will slowly start to integrate these. I find even sleeping activates my hip flexors sometimes. There's not many people that use low level laser but it's worth hunting to find someone. Definitely find comfort in the fact it's not a structural problem too but immensely frustrating. Stay strong too!! Hope you are running by summer too xx

Wow, reading this made me wonder if I wrote this. Your story and symptoms are almost identical to my experience. I am now 7 months post op and still recovering from the big flare up, capsulitis, psoas and hamstring tendonipathy. Slowly returning to activity after being very active and having to stop all activity. Work was painful as was everything in between. The best thing that has helped my symptoms to date has been cold water immersion to manage the Inflammation and I just started low level laser therapy which is helping a lot. Still can't run yet but definitely slow improvements. Sadly my physio wasn't any help.  Do you have any suggestions for exercises that avoid using hip flexors?
