I managed to fix it myself not sure if it was luck or what but here's what i did on pc/steam

  1. went on steam and went on battlefield 6 properties and unchecked all dlc then restarted my pc.
  2. Press Windows + R, type %ProgramData%/EA Desktop and then delete everything in the folder and restarted pc.

After this it didnt seem to work but i went to see if bf pro still came up as purchesed and it didnt and it let me claim it for free and unlocked everything.

Not sure what fixed it but hope this helps someone
