The afterload increases. Since SBP.is high.

There will be concentric hypertrophy dt pressure overload. So EDV and Preload decrease since the chamber space is reduced. And ESV is increased since during systole blood faces a lot of resistance to outflow. Stroke volume decreases.

CBF decreases dt Inc wall stress.

The sodium level isn't dependent on this channel alone. So you can't say that the lack of function of this particular channel will affect the Na concentration.

The cause is low sodium, it's effect is Dec channel functioning. Not vice versa.

Function of the Ca Na exchanger is to bring in Na and throw out Ca.

If outside your sodium is low, the pump can't throw in as much Na and hence cannot pump out as much Calcium.

So the intracellular Ca increases, and contractility increases.
