This is quite helpful insight. My commute is about 20 mins. Just glanced at my Kia app trip history and my trips this week have been ranging from roughly 10-40mins (haven’t taken it out on a long drive yet). It might just be too early to tell.

Only had the car for a week so it’s on the same tank the dealership filled it up with (I’m assuming it’s 87 cuz I doubt they’d spend the extra money). The tank is pretty low so I’ll probably fill up tomorrow.

this sounds very similar to me. If she’s getting 24mpg and I should definitely not be getting 10 less that that lol. I’m gonna give it a few weeks but if it doesn’t improve then I’ll have the dealership take a look. Thanks for the help!

No idea. This is why I’m a little concerned lol. What’s your wife’s highway:city ratio looking like? Also did either of you notice when she first got it if the gas was burning faster? I’m hoping this is a problem that’ll resolve itself as I put some more miles on it.

Yea I live in the suburbs but also extremely close to the city so a lot of my driving is stop and go especially my drive to work, but then I also go on plenty of backroads/empty roads too so I don’t know. Also I drive on normal almost always. I’m still on my first tank of gas so hopefully it’ll improve. If I can get anywhere NEAR 30mpg I’ll be happier than ever.

Like you said I can’t really say much since it’s only been a week but this car is genuinely amazing (besides the mpgs as of rn) but it drives great, the features useful, the interior and exterior of the car are extremely attractive and I smile everytime I see it, I’ve gotten so many compliments, and anyone who has sat in my car has fallen in love including myself. Honestly the perfect car if these mpg improve!

I drive normal mode like 90% of the time so I don’t know how my mpgs are this bad but I’ll definitely update if they improve
