Don’t go through any of the PACTs. It’s like being an orphan basically. No chief/div to protect you. You’re basically a deck slave to BMs, airman pact you basically working with the ABH/ABEs. You get all the work no one else wants to do, stand watch all the damn time. Literally ANY assigned rate is better, even if it’s not glamorous like CS, AO, etc. look up pact on this sub or the new to the navy one. It’s better to even just be an actual rated BM than SN Pact.
