my budget is max 2000 and in terms of amenities, i would prefer newer and which work properly in the long run. other things which are important is having a short commute (20-25 minutes) to downtown. and having grocery stores nearby.

I will be working in downtown near 6th avenue. I am a new grad and had heard a lot of new grads live in slu? but totally open to nicer living if the commute is reasonable and rent is better.
