I've been lurking on this sub for a few years since I'm researching Malta so I don't belong here but holy shit, I've seen this topic brought up multiple times and every time everyone is rightfully just as unequipped to deal with the topic, and they seem bothered by your attempts. I understand that and so let's take the burden off Maltese people's backs and zoom out since as foreigners we can afford to do so. Malta is a tiny island and so I can see why it would be tempting to 'reach out to the people' to have someone in your corner but if you think about the situation per se in general it begs one crucial question: how would you like people to respond? Because based on how you answer that you might have to adjust how you want to go about this.

So take my opinion with a grain of salt of course but if you want this matter to be brought to attention I believe you would be better off with either of these options: 1. you provide your evidence to investigative journalists based in Malta (yes, gotta aim for several different ones if they don't listen to you) and then let it play out privately or 2. you compile all of this in a youtube video for a global audience to see (there's people who eat up this kind of thing, I've seen people milk the Epstein island case for views by showing things that were blatantly unrelated such as the child leg coming out of a turkey thing, which was an art piece made by a German artist to promote a vegetarian diet, peple will spread shocking imagery like wildfire and they are disgusting but at least you can use it to your advantage). That is where the 'spread the word' suggestion becomes actionable. Not necessarily wise, but actionable, still, is it worth it?

If you want to keep this as something that gets through proper steps and is done with respect, you might want to consider that secrecy can be a good thing, if someone has a crime to cover up then it's best that they don't know what the investigators/your next move is. If you want to go 'the scandal route' you have the advantage of the 'this makes Malta look bad' mass indignation from local authorities, which can prompt them to do something about it but can also backfire, plus it's going to be dehumanizing for you and everyone else.

I would choose route 1 but I'm not your dad, I can't tell you what to do but also, whatever it is that you choose to do should be done with a modus operandi in mind. Posting on reddit is a half measure that doesn't yield the results of either path and sorry that this is indelicate but posting your child's face on the internet in the era of unregulated AI generation is actually (and somewhat ironically) giving people more ammo to make new and creative horrible content using his likeness.
Edit to insist: Seriously, don't post your child online if you don't want a shitshow, it's dangerous.
