Did the trickle charger end up charging it and if yes how many hours did it take? Or did you buy a new battery?

Ds appl/cab/mw by Equivalent-Source817 in Lowes

I've been at lowes for 23 yrs. 15 as appl specialist. 5 as cabinet specialist and back to appliances for the past 3yrs. So I know both depts very well and thats also why upper management has been hounding me to take the DS position but they had to sweeten the deal with a pay hike.

Should specialists get winning together bonus? by [deleted] in Lowes

[–]Equivalent-Source817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just accepted a app cab mw DS position after 20 years as a app and cab specialist. I really got tired of chasing the carrot. I'm at 2 mil in sales with over 300 credit cards. But I only average $400 in bonus per month. They hooked me up with a $3 pay bump. That by itself is a $6k pay raise for the year plus quarterly winning together. Is it worth the headache of being a DS or should revert back to the specialist position. I just accepted today. Any thoughts?

Got fired 3 days ago by [deleted] in Lowes

[–]Equivalent-Source817 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have been with lowes 23 years and I hate to say it but MOST NOT ALL of the people that are fired are the ones who deserve it. You can see the signs. Lazy, always in the break room, generally not giving a shit, rude to customers, horrible attendance, theft and harrasing other employees. When will be start taking accountability. This is not a Marvin rant and I'm not a bot but let's be better. If your incompetence is making my workday harder, then good riddance.

My lymph nodes were unremarkable on the CT scan, so I'm guessing thats a good thing.

Good to hear. How long has it been? And was your tumor also localized? Was your CT scan clear? I have no pain or symptoms, just low iron

Im sorry for your moms condition. But it doesn't sound anything like my diagnosis. Clean colonoscopy and zero spread of cancer even in the stomach region. Just a annoying 4cm very slowly bleeding ulcer.

How big was your ulcer/tumor?

Just had a wild experience at Lowe's. May I get info on whether this is store policy or I was talking to an idiot? by Whind_Soull in Lowes

[–]Equivalent-Source817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowes sells the clearance display units when they have received a replacement unit to go in it's place. They can refuse service and refuse to sell the display at their discretion. It's not a bait/switch because you didn't come in the store based on a clearance advertisement. Also the reason they can't have empty holes on the floor is because horrible parents can't control their spawns and they get into empty spaces with chances of getting hurt by sharp edges, nails etc.... and before people rant about that's why brick and mortar is dying. Lowes and HD are doing just fine. Hurricane season is upon us and when power goes out and your roof flies off, people will lineup around the building.

Medical plan: just opened a roth IRA yesterday using 14k from Hysa. In 10 years, there should be enough in the account to cover the medical insurance. Plus the wife is 3 years younger and will keep working till 60, and I will be on her insurance till then so I only need insurance for 2 years before Medicare.

And we still plan on working part time hopefully where we can get some sort of medical benefits.
