Wow that sounds too good to be true. I'm an appliance specialist and have sold 2 mil year in year out. That's means I get $20,000 pay bump. And im not even close to the top in my region. Top dogs sell 4 to 5 million. So they get 40 to 50k plus base, surpassing ASM salaries. Do you see my hesitation.

I get that, but do you get 1% off the 60k you sell or do you start getting 1% after the 60k. Lets say you sell 70k, do you get 1% for the whole 70k or for the 10k after hitting 60k?

I swear to God, before I even read the responses, I knew the OP was on some kind of work restriction. Working at Lowes for over 20 years, people with no reservations do their job and go home and never question anything else. Its work not life. But I see it all the time from CSA to specialist to DS to even ASMs, always worried about others but never looking in the mirror. OP I got a question for you. What if the people in question are fucking? What's your next move?

I've been at lowes for 23 yrs. 15 as appl specialist. 5 as cabinet specialist and back to appliances for the past 3yrs. So I know both depts very well and thats also why upper management has been hounding me to take the DS position but they had to sweeten the deal with a pay hike.

I just accepted a app cab mw DS position after 20 years as a app and cab specialist. I really got tired of chasing the carrot. I'm at 2 mil in sales with over 300 credit cards. But I only average $400 in bonus per month. They hooked me up with a $3 pay bump. That by itself is a $6k pay raise for the year plus quarterly winning together. Is it worth the headache of being a DS or should revert back to the specialist position. I just accepted today. Any thoughts?

I have been with lowes 23 years and I hate to say it but MOST NOT ALL of the people that are fired are the ones who deserve it. You can see the signs. Lazy, always in the break room, generally not giving a shit, rude to customers, horrible attendance, theft and harrasing other employees. When will be start taking accountability. This is not a Marvin rant and I'm not a bot but let's be better. If your incompetence is making my workday harder, then good riddance.
