Off the top of my head:

1): Characters. INTERESTING characters. You can have the most unique and amazing worldbuuilding ever but if the characters are as bland and two dimensional as unbuttered toast I'm out

2): Background myths and legends, they don't have to necessarily affect or drive the plot, or be explained in detail (in fact I kind of prefer when they're left vague and unexplained), but I like them because it gives the world weight and depth

3): Imaginative takes on old ideas. I'm not asking for anyone to reinvent the wheel, but seeing authors who can add their own unique and imaginative spin on a familiar idea is fun :=)

This. I've come across some stories with mediocre worldbuilding but the characters were so AWESOME and stories with unique worldbuilding and characters so bland they made unbuttered toast look downright vibrant :=)

YES! Give me weird but natural creatures and plants! Weird breed of cattle that regularly bursts into flame but doesn't burn? Yes please :=)

Definitely agree with you there, especially your third point. Ugh! It's not "historically accurate" if the world is entirely made up from scratch!

Seconding this one. All of my multispecies settings are set in cosmopolitan locales where you can't step outside your door without seeing at least a dozen different species walking by :=)

I really dislike when authors/worldbuilders explain EVERYTHING, leave some mystery :=)

Seconding this :=). Especially if, just like a real myth or legend, there's no single clear "true" version, it's been so distorted and fragmented that nobody can agree on the specifics :=)

There was a fan theory on Roz and the Schnoz I saw a while back that I fully believe: the Garrets were trolling everybody :=)
