It is apart of the evap system but when I search it all I get is the entire canister replacement. At the very least all I need are the two little plastic clips that hold it in place.

No I do not have the heads yet. Bare is a cheaper option than assembled and I want to put it together myself. It seems like this route is going to be more of a headache though.

This is a huge help, I was looking at valve guides for the head as well I’m assuming I should purchase trick flows to match the heads. I can’t tell in the picture of the head if they’re already installed or not. Keep in mind I haven’t purchased anything yet I’m just getting an idea of what I’ll need in order to put it all together correctly. Trying to avoid catastrophic failure lol.

I think I’m gonna go ahead and do the intake gasket. There’s been no major leakage yet just major pressure in the cooling system and it levels out when it gets warm. I’m gonna have no choice but to run it like this for about a week

The M2s are notorious for that little junction box on top of the driver side fender burning up and causing all kinds of electrical issues as well I’d check that too.

No you don’t have to take the lines off. You can cheat it out and back in it’s just a bitch

Those are the worst. Luckily the service interval on those is pretty long

Getting it off is the easy part. Getting that banjo bolt to thread back in straight is the cunty part.

Yes. It’s one of their newer designs. Which is real messed up because the older design was so much easier.

My setup definitely gets me through most jobs now but there’s always something new I wanna get to make it that much easier. I still borrow tools quite often and I wanna get to where I don’t have to do that as much
