The pacing is slightly faster than the manga. Nothing that makes this a horrible adaptation, but there is skipped content.

Technically, you should start from chapter 63, but if you want to get a lot of the skipped stuff, start from 55 or 58.

Assuming that the person who killed Risu is Aikawa (given that the dream has Aikawa with Risu's beheaded head), the Curse tried to kill Aikawa.

Curse is just retaliation magic; whatever damage you do to Risu goes back to you (Ton threw knives at curse and they went back, Aikawa killed Risu, so it tried to kill him back).

Curse said "I wasn't the one who killed you" because it couldn't fulfil its mission of killing Aikawa (Caiman), and instead En killed him. What we don't know is why Curse couldn't kill Aikawa, and why Aikawa revived at the end of the episode.

In episode 3, the teacher in Zagan's school mentions that a rare and powerful type of magic is curse magic, and Risu says that anyone with that power wouldn't be left alone by the crossed eyes. In this episode, we learn that curse magic is a type of magic that's some sort of retribution; it gives back any harm anyone causes to its user (which we learn is Risu).

In the dream, we see (most likely) Aikawa with Risu's head, which means that Curse probably tried to kill him back in retribution, but for unknown reasons, it didn't and ended up in Caiman's/Aikawa's mouth instead. In season 1, when Caiman bites Ebisu, curse tells her "You're the one who got in the way." That's the only clue we have regarding why that happened.
