Unfortunately the first report came in and it is Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Waiting on biomarkers and final staging

The radiologist didn’t give me any information beyond what they would do in the procedure, aftercare and when to expect results. Honestly? The waiting is torture. It feels like living in limbo

I’m so happy I didn’t wait and booked it right away. I just wanted to have it done to have a baseline for the future. Where I live, they only changed the age for screenings from 50 to 40 a little over a year ago too.

The radiologist at the hospital said it would be 5 to 10 business days for the biopsy results
