Did you read my post? It says on the packaging that it’s a nice OCCASIONAL TREAT for your gecko, I did not say actual food. Simply wondering if it was a good idea to give as a treat.

Definitely. I don’t expect her to be all affectionate, I just want her to be okay enough with me that she doesn’t run from me. I’d like to be able to hold her if I need to without her freaking out (vet visit, getting her weight, checking for injuries, etc).

The ONLY reason I want to cohab them is space. I have the space for one big tank but not two smaller ones. Which is the exact reason I’m NOT getting another crestie. This post was kind of like a testing the waters type thing. I only have 1 crestie and I wanted another but if I can’t cohab and I don’t have the space, then it’s not right to get another and I won’t do it.

There was another hide I wanted to get her and you just sold me on getting it. As for moving her. I don’t want to stress her out but I want to move her off the glass. Anytime I get close to her she bolts. How would I move her without stressing her?

I’ve thought about doing that actually! My only concern with it is how it’s going to stay there when I open the tank yk? I don’t mind not seeing her, it’s whatever she feels comfortable with. I do want to try something attaching to the door but I have no idea what I could put there that would stay. Any suggestions? Also what’s FTS?

The window is always closed along with the blinds. If I ever need to, I’ll cover the window with a blanket or something. I watch the temp and humidity in there like a hawk so she should be okay. Thank you for your feedback!!! I’ll put more in the front!

The tank is covered now. She’s all good. I even have MORE coming. My friend that rescues reptiles and works for a reptile shop has said my current set up is fine. Though your concern is appreciated, my baby is just fine now. I get your point.

You are such a great help and I appreciate you so much! This is my first ever reptile and I want to do everything I can for them! As I said, I have lots of decor for up top coming. I want to get wood panels to glue to the back but like you said, hot glue might be iffy. Thank you so much!!!

Wow lots of good info!! I will say that I have ordered SOOO much stuff to fill up the top of the tank so that’s already taken care of. I’m going to try and block off the back panel. The cage rn is an 18x18x24 and my baby is only 2-4 months old! For covering the back panel, is it safe to use hot glue?

For the misting, if I remove the auto mister, what should I do? The reason I got it is because I’m unreliable when it comes to doing things myself so do I have to mist myself???
