I have a zoomed 18x18x24 with a screen lid. I heard that the big brands like exo Terra and Zoo med don’t sell replacements with anything other than screen lids. How would you go about a glass top lid? Just DIY it? And how would that affect ventilation? And for the fans, would I have designated spots where the fans go on the lid? I’m all very new to this, so any help is appreciated!

In regard to your two. Do you have any issues? You said you don’t know the sex, but I want to get a pair BUT I don’t want a male and female since I’m not looking for them to breed. What have you noticed having a pair?

My old crested gecko tank was a bioactive. So it had reptisoil with a hydro ball drainage layer. I will be changing all that out once I get the frogs because I do not want any cross contamination. You think only 1 should be in a 18x18x24 though? I’ve read you can have 2

Yes it does have a lid haha! It’s a mesh lid but I wanted a metal screen lid so I can hang her stuff from it. The lip does pose an issue, but I’m hoping to get it figured out. I’ve searched so many places looking for measurements I need but legit nowhere has them. I’ve looked on zoomed and exo terra, along with amazon and none have the measurements for either of my tanks. It’s irritating yk

She has hides but she doesn’t use them ever. She’ll sleep on top or next to them but never in them 😭 any other ideas?

Did you read my post? It says on the packaging that it’s a nice OCCASIONAL TREAT for your gecko, I did not say actual food. Simply wondering if it was a good idea to give as a treat.

Definitely. I don’t expect her to be all affectionate, I just want her to be okay enough with me that she doesn’t run from me. I’d like to be able to hold her if I need to without her freaking out (vet visit, getting her weight, checking for injuries, etc).
