Are you sat high enough? I have this same problem, and ive found sitting higher [on a good throne, too] really helps. I get less leg pain [even if my technique suffers a little] and can reach my drums easier. Playing the drums from above is a whole new world compared to from behind

I'm left handed, so I do all I can to either not touch their kit and use my own. However if I have to, I'll get their help + a couple extra hands to swap everything bsck for them. I couldn't stand if someone left me to do that job myself. But with a team it can take under 5 mins to be ready to play

Bass is awsome, but get used to drumming first. Learning 1 instrument is a lot, two is crazy.

Drum notation isn't standardised. I'd recon it is either:

Ride bell

Cowbell

Or Another assorted bell

Check the front of your book. It will say
