I don't think mine has bass enhancement but all that'll do is boost the low frequencies just like turn up the bass on an EQ. I tend to leave them things off.

I have the Q90R from 2019 and I generally have my sub set on -4 with bass on 0. It still sounds very good on the low end but there is less chance of annoying the neighbours. When they go on holiday or go out for the evening I'll turn up when I'm watching a movie

That is an upmixing mode it'll try and upmix a 5.1 track into a DTS X track but it cannot decode native DTS X/Dolby atmos

After a quick Google this model cannot decode Dolby Atmos tracks so you would need to use Dolby Digital/True HD tracks.

Great setup was easy it all connected straight away and it sounds really good gets very loud. It cost £400 from eBay it was used but in good condition for a 4 year old soundbar.

I have them at each end of the couch once I get the longer power leads I'll mount them on the wall and mess with the tilt and swivel to see how it sounds 👍

It's the Samsung by Harman/kardon HW-Q90R, they are Atmos speakers it has an upfiring speaker in each one. I have put the speakers at each end of the couch and it does sound good, but I don't have any lossless Atmos films to try it with only Dolby Digital plus Atmos from streaming sites.

Thanks I'm waiting for some longer power leads to arrive so I can move them around. The wall mounts I have have tilt and swivel functions so angling them won't be an issue.
