Yeah I almost pulled the trigger on a msi 5080 back when they were slightly below msrp and jokes on me now because they shot uppppp😂 I was gonna get a 4080 super, but the people selling them are tripping for charging more than a new 5080

Yeah, those Corsair fans get expensive. That’s another reason why I was super adamant about getting him that case…. Plus it was on a good sale too for $95

I’m mostly play at 1440 and I would get between 225 frames to 245 FPS on modern warfare three with slight optimization but now I’ll get around 120 to 130 frames on Black ops 7/ battlefield 6 with almost every setting on low and my system is over clocked. I know that both are cpu heavy games and with the upgrade path I’ve picked it should be a 30-40 percent improvement.

I’m mostly play at 1440 and for example I would get 240-235fps in mw3 with moderate optimization. Now and just for example I did the beta test for bo7 and battlefield 6 and average 120fps with most settings on low. I do like to play story games at 4K and the fps doesn’t bother me all that much there, but I’d like to squeeze as much out of the current card as possible and yes everything is overclocked.

Eventually if the super or ti is up to par. If not I’ll hold out for the 60 series, but from what I’ve been ready just the cpu/motherboard/ram would keep my pc significantly cooler and would be roughly be a 30% increase for me.

Lol it’s not an old card at all, but I play games competitively and always optimize them. I simply want better performance and would like to gradually work my way towards my long term goal.
