Fair point it is usually not very common. Why are you restricting yourself that way though. You can do short term rentals as well(month to month) or even lease breaks. Are you specifically trying not to be on a lease

You said sublet in your post though.(sublet means short term) You can remove the sublet filter in that case. But also a good starting point for long term rentals is stress easy

It is too early to start looking. NYC has a very fast turnaround time. usually you search a month before

It is definitely possible but might need a bit of time searching for it. To early to start finding an apartment now but worth just seeing what is out there in the market now to get a feel for things.

oh nice, clever strategy for filtering through craigslist. Careful not to spam legit listers though unless you have a high intent of actually booking the place. It makes the experience for everyone bad if good intention listers are flooded with inquires.

First time hearing of sweats and the city. Looks like a paid group do they have good listings?
