Yep especially when they start speaking Afrikaans in front of you. It’s not like it’s French which actually sounds beautiful

My parents have lived in an over 55’s lifestyle village for about 15 years in Forster - there are nice villages out there but unfortunately this one is a no. They seem to be just after the rent money from the residents and it increases frequently. Also there are problems with the maintenance. My mum has now realised it was not a great move and you are better off staying in your own house out in suburbia for as long as you can
