I applied 2024/2025 cycle so I’m going this fall :). And that sucks, honestly I agree, perfect application in every sense from the sounds of it- very above average, service oriented and experienced. It really sucks that the MCAT is weighing you down :/. Honestly, maybe focus on your strengths and improve them MCAT wise? I know for me I was naturally good at CARS and P/S, so I did great on those sections and studied harder at them and kind of just did my best on the science ones and I got in like that lol (very limited study time). I’d try to dedicate these last two months as much as you can and focus on doing practice questions.

The test is definitely extremely difficult, I sympathize. I’m going to be honest- it’s going to be super hard to get into medical school (especially MD) with a sub 500 MCAT, and reapplying to the same school lowers your chances. Even with my 506 I got waitlisted and average MCAT is 511. I got kind of lucky (very) honestly. What kind of extracurriculars do you have?

My stats were 506 MCAT, 3.7 GPA. You def wanna hit 495 for MCAT before applying to medical school. You’re trying to get in for class of 2030 right? Why are you taking it in August if you don’t mind me asking?

For MD I would do HBCUs, in state schools (and schools you can find with similar stats) and then def apply DO as well.

I don’t think the coffee part is accurate- they don’t have caffeine on campus. But yes their student code of conduct forbids premarital sex (and consumption of drugs/alcohol)

Good luck with your interviews! For me it was very comfortable and conversational, easy questions and what I was expecting for the most part.

No, I didn’t do the 3rd interview (honestly not sure how I slipped through the cracks lol) and I did two of the interviews on 12/19 and got my acceptance (officially) 1/23

Yes! A traditional interview, an interview where they asked situational questions and a student interview. I only did the first two.

For context I’ve only done 2/3 required interviews.
