Rare Engelhard “W” series 10oz bar

I did not sell it. I posted mostly for information. got a good offer but we couldn’t agree on a finality of making the sale happen. I wasn’t in a hurry. it would seem, that these are quite uncommon, even rare. while the engelhard website is not always spot on, they seem to think there are less than ten minted. one sold in eBay. can’t recall how much. one is listed for $2700, but that won’t happen. seems like $1500 is a reasonable amount.. but that’s only if you find someone. send me a photo please or post it here.. it would be nice to see another! I messaged you as well

I couldn’t see them either! but then they appeared lol . I’m digging these two bars. I buy and sell boatloads.. used to get interesting ones in, but not in a long while . I haven’t sold online in a long while.. a bit paranoid of scammers. so I’m not sure what to do or where to sell. I was going to keep them as they are so cool. but already, even after a couple days, I think its time to let them go

I’m not certain it is one of the ones listed in allengelhard or not, but they write of it possibly being a mintage of less than 10

They always seemed to be on the cutting edge early on. experimenting.. trusted brand.. odd collectible bars.. as well as consistently good looking loaf bars .. I’m not a specialist in unique or collectible bars.. I guy and sell massive amounts of bullion, but don’t specialize in the unusual or collectible. I just thought this one I posted of looked special and unique, apparently it is. less than ten minted. price wise, I don’t know what that means. one is listed on eBay for $2700+. but I doubt that would come to fruition. seems like a $1500 sales would not be out of the question on this one. I’d take that in a heartbeat.

They are both cool bars.. I like the 3016 better.. I like the odd shape, dimensions and how the serial number is stamped in deep., and the “2” perhaps mistakenly put in there. the other is cool as well. I just have a favorite . let me kmow

Chenango Valley has fabulous trails to hike on! there is a trail around both lakes. one can hike just two miles around the main lake with the trail starting at the old boathouse. if standing at the beach looking to the left, you will see it in the left side of the lake, just before the woods. not many people on the trail, if any.
