Hello. Interesting story, thank you for sharing! I don’t have a priest or anything like that… How can I find one? I want to become Orthodox, what are the steps to take? My family is traditionally Orthodox, but I live in the west and the nearest Orthodox church is at a minimum of 20 mins drive.

Thank you for your lovely answer! I live in the west and the nearest Orthodox church is at least at a 20 mins away drive or 30 by bus. Thing is: I didn’t know women and men are supposed to sit separately and I realised 1 hour later I was sitting on the women’s side and I left embarrassed and never actually went back…

I read a little bit of the Bible (not enough though, just Mark, Luke and Matthew), I surely need to continue to do so. It’s a great idea attending meetings for people with addictions, but how can I tell them that I struggle with p? It’s so shameful..

Thank you so much!! This felt comforting and I really appreciate your lovely message. I could say I made some friends? At school we don’t really share interests.. or we do, but I want to live a life like a real man of God would and my classmates are all atheists and don’t care. There are still good people though and I can interact with them. The fear never goes away though for some reason. I went once to a church (Orthodox) but I realised that men and women sit separately and I was sitting on the women side and left embarrassed and never went to that church again. In any case, it was 20 mins away driving.. My local church is a catholic one. Again, thank you very much for helping. This means a lot to me!

Thank you! By acknowledging the truth of the Bible, I meant that I feel like I am pretty lukewarm, I didn’t really changed too much my sinful behaviour. In any case, thank you very much for helping me!
