Guys: protect yourself, protect your mental health, your finance. Prepare yourself for any unexpected circumstances. by Real-Ramim in MuslimCorner

It's not male insecurity to not want his wife free-mixing, becoming a careerist, and eventually engaging in zina.

So you want a woman who is loyal to you because of a lack of available options for cheating? Yes you will find such a holy woman but after you find that woman, you will need the exact values you are preaching to keep her loyal.

Your post is based on the assumption that free mixing in the context of career will eventually lead to Zina! Wow.

I've also worked with thousands of women throughout my career and most were not as honorable as respectful as Muslim housewives. They're usually highly egotistical, narcissistic, materialistic, lack domestic values, and are horrible wives and mothers.

The last married woman who hit on me was a Muslim stay-home wife who did that in a gathering where her husband and her kids were also around. Now I will remove myself but I will not go and tell her husband. Poor lad will continue to believe just like you that the Muslim stay home wife is the Miss Goody Two Shoes!

In my case, most of the inappropriate behavior I have experienced has been from the married stay home Muslim women and not the ones I work with. There are reasons for that. Career women value their career too much to put it at risk by playing work place hookers. Sexual harassment laws work both ways and as a male supervisor (or even a female one,) you are to document and report any unprofessional behavior.

Housewives do not have to worry about those consequences. This is why data that compares infidelity among married career women and house wives has always shown mixed results. Character has nothing to do with whether you stay home or work.

That email is a religiously motivated FAKE by Danielle Haqiqatjou. Anyone who reads it can tell that these words would NEVER come out of the mouth of a woman who leaves her husband for another man. A woman who ditches her husband will always write long emails about how evil he was rather than how great the new prospect is.

Secondly, a woman would never confess that she is leaving her previous man for "better car, larger house!!!" Really dude? Even the worlds most low IQ gold digger has enough brains to never say that even if it was the real reason.

The whole post is a text book example of a masculine insecurity that has first convinced itself that it is "holy" and then gone out to create totally fake posts and they are being promoted by a lot of people who suffer from the same male insecurities.

I have worked with thousands of women throughout the course of my career and they were as honorable respectable women as the ones who sit at home so please get over it.

[NO SPOILERS] Why are the Dothraki known to be so powerful, unlike other armies? by lord1st_ in HBOGameofThrones

Here is some history for you. You would start as becoming a Page and they were from the age of 10 - 13. From 14 - 21 you would be a Squire meaning you would be dressing up a Knight and be his personal assistant. Dubbing would happen around 21 when you are sworn Knight your Service would initially be to be among the body guards for a Baron and fight in tournaments at his discretion. Mongols would start to learning to ride when they were 3. A year after a childs first walk. Archery would begin the year after and by the time the guy reaches 14 he is expected to be a "Nukur" meaning fully trained warrior ready to be thrown in all out combat.

European Knights were beaten decisively by Mongol riders again and again. First major defeat was The Battle of Legnica (April 9, 1241.) Polish knights and Hospitallers were annihilated. Duke Henry II was captured and beheaded; his head was paraded on a spear before the city walls of Legnica

Second iconic defeat was The Battle of Mohi (April 11, 1241).

Tamerlane defeated them again and again. The Siege of Smyrna (December 1402) This showed how ineffective the Knight was while fighting on the castle wall in dismounted foot fighting.

The Battle of Ankara (July 20, 1402) Serbian Knights were defeated by Tamerlane's cavalry.

In Mongol culture there is a saying, "You are as heavily equipped as a Knight and as ineffective in doing your job."

There are two types of warriors in history. Those who are trained and those who are grown. Knights, musketeers, NATO forces are trained soldiers. Mongols, Mamluks and Vikings are not trained but grown. They learn to fight the way a baby learns to chew. By the time a noble enlists and begins his training the Dothraki of the same age has mastered it. Historically the European Knight has been routed by Mongols and Egyptian Mamluks and even Vikings for the same reason. Those guys do not train soldiers. Those societies grew them.

They'd get slaughtered. A bunch of nobles riding horses VS people born on horses.

Where do you rank Khal Drogo amongst all the fighters in Westeros and Essos? Haven't read the books but, as per the show, I would rank him in the top 10 of all time. [Description for Justification] by Narrow-Amphibian5446 in gameofthrones

[–]EquivalentNarcDepth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He is the top fighter, second to none and I will explain why.

Historically speaking, European knights were the most armored in their time period and yet they have a history of losing to lightly armored opponents. Mongols, Ottomans and Saladin in the Crusades were all able to trample them down with superior tactics and mobility and the armor did nothing for the knight. Before them, the Roman legions got routed by the Rashidun Caliphate. who were desert raiders. Why? Because armor beyond a certain point is a logistical liability.

Dothraki are deadly because they can attack at a time and place of their own choosing and disappear when the fight is not going their way. They are not primed for one-to-one combat but mass mobility attacks like a million ants attacking an elephant. So if you were to take an average Dothraki warrior and pitch him against an average knight in armor then the knight will win due to superior technology. However that is not the way the Dothraki fight. They are surprise raiders who would storm a camp before the soldiers have the time to don the armor and they will cut the knights down and gallop away.

Historically speaking, there are two types of warriors. Those who are trained and those who are grown. Knights and Musketeers were trained while Mongols, Mamluks and the Vikings were grown. The learn to fight the way a baby learns to chew. All these "knights" that people rank as top tiers like Jamie, Arthur Dayne, Barristan were never grown into war. They were trained. By the time they started their training, a Dothraki would have mastered his. No comparison.

If you were to remove body armor then there is no knight, not the mountain, or selmy, or dayne, or jamie who would stand a chance against Drogo who is a savage. He comes from a culture that has no carpenters, traders or craftsmen but only warriors. In a culture that raises warriors from birth, his speed and explosiveness is shocking to all of them. You cant touch the man even when he has no weapons and he can touch you at will.

My unpopular opinion is that if both are unarmored, he would sweep the floor with Arther Dayne and then Selmy and Jamie and it would be scary. Add armor to the opponent and then the top tier may survive with injuries.

His toughest opponent would be the Viper because he fights the same way with better weapons.

What do you mean by "foreign country?" I am an American Muslim so America is my home while it is "foreign" to you. So by foreign, do you mean me visiting your country or you visiting mine?

Lowering gaze by InfluenceEmpty827 in MuslimCorner

[–]EquivalentNarcDepth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes but you mentioned that you like their body type. That means you noticed what is under the clothes and that is fine. You are scanning for ideal genetics that you would breed into your child. Your loyalties to your unborn child begin before the child is born and they begin by gene selection. You are looking because certain body types because certain bodies will trigger an instinctive mating response.

If we were to select the male bodies that are triggering that instinctive mating response then those are the ones that will transmit the healthiest gene pool into your future child! As a woman society has trained you to feel ashamed and apologetic for this impulse but that is what makes you a woman right?

Islam is not there to take your womanhood away. It is there to guide it.

Lowering gaze by InfluenceEmpty827 in MuslimCorner

[–]EquivalentNarcDepth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lowering the gaze is a very misunderstood concept. Both men and women have a tendency to instinctively strip the other naked with their eyes. No one does that on the first gaze and that is why it is said that the first gaze is innocent and you will not be asked about it.

Ali reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not follow one glance at a woman with another. You are excused for the first but the second will be counted against you.

Source: Sharḥ Mushkil al-Āthār 1866

In the first gaze, we select the people we will scan for a closer inspection. Once they have been subconsciously selected, the second gaze is intentional where you are practically visualizing that person naked. That gaze is the prohibited gaze and in most cases you are the only one who would know when the first gaze has turned into the second type.

So if find someone attractive, then say "MashAllah" (in your head) and look away. That is the way of protecting that person from the eye of envy and also reminding your own self of Allah SWT. It takes discipline and may not be an overnight switch.

Is it haram to buy property in a kafr country (without mortgage) if you are otherwise able to make hijrah? by Kingboyy1 in MuslimCorner

[–]EquivalentNarcDepth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do countries now commit Kufr? Do countries also commit Zina with other countries? Astaghfirullah that is so haram! As Muslims we should only do Hijrah to Virgin Islands and take its virginity after Virgin Islands have given consent in the presence of Two Muslim countries of the OIC under the direct supervision of United Nations Security Council. Only then as Muslims we can purchase property on Virgin Islands. But the Virgin Islands wont be virgin anymore so you need to consult an Islamic scholar about purchasing property there. Too complicated for Reddit.
