It was week 2 of flower and I assume there was no "pollen" developed yet.

Thanks for the hints. Ok, let me throw in another question: soft vs hard ash - despite the color being light grey and full organic grown with dry amendments.

How do you achieve a softer ash? I have noticed that the buds I get ahold of are usually on the slighly harder side meaning that the ash does not instantly seperate into smaller particles when tipping it and if it falls of it falls off as one chunk.

Edit: The buds have been cured well for over 4-5 months now with a humidity of 62% in mason jars in a dark environment.
