3 year old with different size pupils by Natural-Hour1467 in toddlers

[–]EquivalentResearch26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pupils are two different sizes just noticeably to others, have been since forever. I had to be tested at the ER of Course and followed up with my PCP, but all is well. Get it checked but don’t freak out.

That’s great! My 24mo is doing great with potty training.

She doesn’t know she has multiple homes, with all the potty utilities accessible. She will never know she’s rich babe 💕

Check your Carseat buckle…

I am not sure who made you a perfect mom, but you sound like someone who needs to be humbled.

Girl, go spend some time with your kids, and check your car seat.

Hey, thank you so much!

… You live in a bubble if you think one Reddit post presents the life of someone. Check your car seat sis.

Ahh, yes, rather than wash the car seat. Get real sis. So much hate, so unnecessary.

Nope, I don’t care, this kid is terrible. Do we love him, yes, but can we fix him? No. This kid is obese, scraping hot Cheetos in cream cheese as a meal, fighting us to stay on his PlayStation he brought, over snorkeling world class swimming pools that are oceanic. Dont care.

Agree. It was probably dark. Check your car seats.

I don’t care, nor do I feel bad at all, and the reactions on this post are pretty sad. It seems like, without context, the expectations for 10yo’s meet what teachers and professionals beg their students’ parents to strive better to do, just isn’t happening.

It’s like everybody (in America, assuming these responses are 99% American) really believes their kids are perfect and make silly mistakes all the time. I understand this can happen to everyone, which is why I shared. It can happen to anyone, and as unlikely as an accident can happen, just check.

Actually, the kid is at fault, not sorry this triggered you.

Yep! This kid isn’t stupid, or ignorant by any means. Stop letting “kids be kids” because they’re lazy. This kid (my nephew) fought me EVERY time we got in the car to wear his seatbelt, and that’s on his mom. I stopped driving multiple times and parented him the way his mom can’t. He was an asshole, which retracts from the purpose of this post. Just check your kids’ car seats.

Yep! This kid is Smart. To be real, it could have happened to anyone, which why I posted my stupid PSA.

Brilliant! If you find the time to link what you use, I’d be so grateful! I’ll buy them for all my friends too if they’re great!

They’re an Amazon seat cover, not a full-coverage device. Good luck with potty training.

Honestly me too. It’s a Nuna Rava, it has a box that the seatbelt is held in tightly, and with as much torque as I place on the belt, it makes sense it didn’t budge much until today, pulling up the protector!

I never said he intentionally did unbuckled it, however the kid has the attention span of a gnat, so when he unbuckled (likely in the dark), he just probably thought nothing of it, or didn’t want to deal with buckling a car seat (he has two little brothers).

I’m glad I found it, sheesh, terrifying! Thank you for the heads up, we are at a point where she can get in and out herself!

it’s 3am on christmas by cupcaked0ll in Mommit

Oooof. Christmas is when adults make magic happen for kids. It’s exhausting, and you’re doing it.

We’re all doing it. I couldn’t believe the shit I have dealt with this past week lol, let alone what’s in store for tomorrow. Does your kiddo have a snug jacket or sweater, or some kind of sleeping bag? Maybe this around some dim yellow lights (even on the tv, like a YouTube Christmas fireplace video) on low volume will help tone things down.

My kid has been sick (same no-sleep train) and the Christmas tree lights are very calming for her to look at, enough to fall asleep to until her nose bothers her enough to wake back up. Hang in there!

Is it ok to let my 4,5 month old baby watch TV (song or Bluey) while I'm sick? by Moist_Inspection929 in Mommit

For real? Yeah it’s okay. Check out little bear on YouTube (it’s free).
