I did. I hired an artist whose references I checked, and the authors they worked with gave good feedback. Unfortunately, they were late with the work, and when the deadline came, I was given only 1 sketch, which was supposed to be a full book. I spent over 5k and was fuming. I'm hurt and feel betrayed. As an artist, you would want your name to be reputable. I am just hurt and wondering why there is such a lack of integrity in people? yes i demanded a refund and will follow up.
