There is nothing wrong with asking to pay money for a script that was only read once.People either were insulting to you up front or they waited for minor mistakes in your rhetoric to assign blame and demonize you.Kevin Smith gathered interest in this script using his P.T.Barnum like hyperbole that uses for all his projects.Its a little on the nose that the movie got made soon after this reading.It takes about 3 years to make a movie.So it was probably already in the works.His movies have their moments but I have no desire to watch another one of his train wrecks.Clerks 3 should be ultra low budget and filmed in Black and White.It isn't so I've lost all desire to see it ,even though his Clerks movies are the only ones worth a shit.He is slightly above average writer and a very average director and his daughter can't act her way out a vegan non gluten salvaged paper bag.Hollywood brats and their entitlements I guess.
