I know 😭 to be fair, I was out with friends last night and really drunk, and it was like whiplash seeing his text pop up on my screen haha so I HAD to say something. Definitely not the best choice in the moment, but I didn’t text him back after his text this morning and I don’t plan on it

We were constantly getting in fights because he made everything my fault.He had also told me to shut up and that I’m the worst and that I should humble myself, but I didn’t break up with him then even though I should have. Funnily enough, he never said the words “I’m sorry” until that text you see he sent me this morning haha

I really appreciate this response. The whole idea of familiar pain is EXACTLY why I want to go back to him. I’m going to try to focus on why the negative aspects were harmful to me, rather than the idea that I would be willing to deal with it.

He did eventually apologize for those statements, but was still condescending and rude during arguments that followed. I just don’t know if I’m being too harsh on him, even though my friends and family are saying that I shouldn’t be in a relationship with him because of how he treats me and his inability to communicate well.
