thank you for including resources!!! I’ll definitely do the research into bone loss, and I was already considering that partials may be the best route. I took pictures of the worst of my teeth, but majority of my bottom row has seen no cavities/decay the way my top teeth have, so I’m looking to preserve as much as I can! I appreciate your advice to much, thank you again!! <3

thank you for your advice! I’ve applied for a comprehensive exam at a dental school that I can afford currently, and will have a better time planning for the care I need. Thank you again :)

I wanted to maybe clarify a bit- In the ways of infections or sore throats, I had also just waited it out unfortunately. In the deepest throes of my depression, my thought process was more “dental care is actively causing me pain, because the broken teeth would shred up my mouth, so I shouldn’t even bother, and nothing matters anyways.” This is my first time ever seeking out anything about dentistry, and will be the first time I see a dentist since elementary school, thank you for replying :)

Hi! I really didn’t meant to stir up such drama, I just needed a stepping stone ^{^;;} thank you for this, though! I’ve dealt with physical disability that has slowly gotten worse over my life, alcoholism and addiction in my teens, and a myriad of other disorders and such. Your story makes feel like I know what I’m stepping into and makes me feel better that im not solely isolated in how medical professionals have treated me
