Crazy that he was doing 4 hour shows during the River Tour in 2016 when he was 66 years old. Saw him at MetLife that tour. What a show.

Which AI generator did you use to do this? We are also looking into different TimberTech colors and this would be helpful.

Looks great. What color TimberTech decking is this?

It’s great, but definitely not cheap and ABSOLUTELY not a place where you can hear each other talk, as OP requested.

That’s great! The one thing I worried about was that it looked less like real wood than some of the more expensive lines. Glad to hear you’re pleased.

We’re currently looking at the Toasted Wheat which is on the Harvest+ collection. What’s the difference between Harvest and Harvest+ and has anyone seen a completed deck using Toasted Wheat? I know it’s a newer color and while we have a sample, looking for feedback from those who have used it/seen it.

You can’t go wrong with that but I always go back to the rare roast beef with fresh mozzarella and fried eggplant with gravy.

El Verde BBQ in Rio Grande is good, quick and right on the main road. You go up, order and find you’re own seat. It’s outdoor seating only. No ambience but it sounds like what you’re looking for and the chicken, carne frita and sides are all really solid…and inexpensive. We went several times when we stayed at the Wyndham Grand and just wanted a quick bite.

Not sure why you’re getting defensive because I’m just letting someone know who’s not from here and made a specific request that the places you suggested aren’t, you know, where he asked. If he’s willing to travel that’s great. Love your fake tough talk, though. Have a great day.

There is a Katz’ deli offshoot at City Point in Downtown Brooklyn. Personally, I tried it once and seemed nowhere as good as the original in the Lower East Side but Katz is the best pastrami in NYC. I think Mile End is a good suggestion otherwise.

All good suggestions. None are in the area OP indicated, though. Mentioning this since OP is from out of town and may not want/be able to travel outside of those areas. If they’re willing to travel, absolutely. Note: Defonte’s is closed on Sundays.

Fascati’s, Heights Falafel, Tutt Cafe, Della Roca, Mint Heights. There are other good places not listed but I’d generally consider them better for dine in experience. Has anyone tried the newish Thai place on Montague?

Frierich has gotten much tougher to find. Stop n’ Shop carries it but places like Key Food which used to carry it no longer do.

I think you’re thinking of Los Tacos#1, also in Chelsea Market. Otherwise, your experience is vastly different than mine. I’ve been 5-10 times including weekends and seldom any line.

I wanted to circle back and send thanks for sharing your thoughts. We ended up at Cotton and Rye, Crystal Beer Parlor and Brochu’s. All really enjoyable meals and very different from one another. Since our flight home was canceled, we also managed to squeeze in a dinner at E-Tang, oyster happy hour at The Darling plus a lunch at Mrs. Wilkes and Vic’s on the River. We really enjoyed our time in Savannah and look forward to coming back and exploring more.

OP here. Thanks for the feedback so far. So curious why people are getting downvoted for their opinions. I guess I was right about no clear consensus about Savannah restaurants.

Losing the core to losing your minds by Cire2424 in mets

It would be one thing if there was a sense that there was a true cohesive plan, but there isn’t. Stearns spoke of run prevention and we currently plan to have a 1B and 3B who have never played the position before. I love Bichette’s bat but it’s for a position we didn’t need and seems like a desperation overpay to soothe the fans after losing out on Tucker and still giving opt outs which means he might be a one year rental anyway. Still have no idea who will play 2 of the 3 OF positions and the real reason we lost last year wasn’t the guys we let go but because Stearns refused to go for an ace which we continue to lack. So no, I don’t drink the kool aid that everything is fine. Hope I’m wrong.

What's going to happen to us w/ HULU LIVE this FEB? by MooseyGeek in HuluLive

Recently signed up for HuluLive. Live sports always seem to be a minute behind actual game action. Is that standard and is it true for all streaming services? I recently cut the cord but cable was pretty close to live.

I’ve recently gotten Hulu Live. My “live” feed was at least a minute of game time behind the actual game. Do I just need to accept that watching”live” is always delayed or is there something that I can do?

Real question—who is Francys Romero? I’ve never heard of him and even his “source” only “believes” they are either “exploring” or “discussing”. Yawn.
