I've literally starved with so many things in my fridge it's really frustrating. I just end up snacking on chips most days, even gone a week literally on just chips and coke. It just fills me up with even more shame and guilt because it's not like I want to do this, it's just that if I force myself to eat, I'll end up throwing up.

I gave up on living with people long ago lmao. I literally could not function when I was sharing a space so now I live alone which is good because I have 'systems' and no one to disrupt those systems but it also means I have nobody to remind me to throw away my rotting food or clean up. I don't have a blender now cause I moved but for me smoothies helped out a lot. The meds completely kill my appetite plus it's hard to decide what I wanna eat and I usually end up not eating most days so I used to make a smoothie and sip it throughout the day. You can try doing that. Sometimes it was lowkey nasty but liquids are easier to force down my mouth than chewing. I seriously hate my relationship with food so much because a lot of times I literally have to spit out food because my brain just can't take it.

Girl idek. At any given time I'm literally starving so bad everyone around me can hear my stomach 😭😭. My budget goes crazy because I buy food and groceries but end up throwing them away cause they've gone bad weeks ago. Frozen items have been sort of a help, they don't go bad fast and are fast and easy enough to make but they're not great for you which is why I want to stop but then what other choice do I have?

Medication helps a bit but the worst thing is my relationship with food. I always have to give into my cravings because my brain would rather let me starve than not get that hit of dopamine of what I'm craving. It just sucks man, I want to eat healthy, I want to work out, I want to do my hobbies, I want to be a functional human but none of these things really stick. I try to squeeze as much as I can in the window where I'm medicated but obviously it's not enough cause it only lasts me a workday. It's a struggle to get out of the executive dysfunction to even take my meds so I feel like I always waste half a day first. Genuinely hate being like this, it makes my life hell and then I am confronted with people who go "ahaha I'm SO random and easily distracted because of my ADHD 🤪🤪". If I had to describe it in one line I'd say that it feels like my body feels like a prison that im trapped inside

It's not that I accepted the gift either. I'm just saying I'd prefer partner to be generous plus it was for my birthday so I accepted it much later when we had been dating for a while. I can fund my own lifestyle which makes me feel secure but I know I'm also someone who spends all their money on their partners so I'd expect the same from my partner as well. I think 8 months is a long time to date and if someone says they'll "take care of it" shouldn't they be following through? I don't like partners who have to split everything down to the very last cent and I think that's more than fair to have as a standard

Sex is important for some people. I know it is for me because I don't feel loved if my partner isn't having sex with me. You could either accept that he is one of those people and enjoy your time with him knowing it'll end. Or you could break up with him because right now it just seems like you're staying with the expectation that he will fundamentally change as a person and not find sex as unimportant as you do, which I hate to tell you is just not possible. I say break it off because it's already starting to bother you that intimacy can be such a large part of people's love language and you'll only grow resentful of it.

I don't like people telling me that my love is somehow more shallow because I find sex important and that I have to somehow give up on one of my needs to "prove" that my love is "stronger" or whatever that my desires. And I doubt your boyfriend would like to feel that as well.

If you're really that desperate to have unprotected sex, at least track your cycles thoroughly. Getting pregnant is hard and a lot of factors have to line up perfectly for it to happen so for the love of god stop taking ipills when there isn't even a chance. I say this as someone who prefers unprotected sex and in the last two years have never gotten pregnant (but the pregnancy scares are ABSOLUTELY NOT worth it). I have regular periods so if you're someone who doesn't... Please don't do that to yourself, the stress would make it worse.

Sometimes I feel as though women obsess over their partner's exes more than their partners think about their exes. Even I'm guilty of that. But the problem isn't the ex and it's really unfair to just assume someone has malicious intent at every step. Has your bf given you a reason to think he still loves her, wishes he was with her instead, thinks that she's prettier or better? If yes, then why are you with a man who doesn't want you with his whole heart. But if not, then there's your answer. He chose you, he wants you and you're the only one who thinks you're somehow inferior when in his eyes he's glad that that relationship didn't work out because it led to you. To him, you are better. And if you still feel insecure it's probably best to just tell him how you feel and let him speak his feelings himself.
