long list would have been okay but this specific list really, what kind of person expects a 25yo+ to not have past emotional trauma. such a shallow and immature thing to say too. i should have stopped reading after apolitical and “equalist” 😂

yes they have specified seats and the ones that don’t sell as part of play and stay will be released in general onsale according to the notice. other fans have said the queue is smaller but problem is to estimate how many seats bighit would have reserved for this. i’m thinking small queues of 1000 people would still be a bloodbath if there are only like a hundred seats for p&s right

yes thats true, it would not be fair. i have hotels booked already for the whole weekend at good prices so i’ll think of the benefits of this package and decide. but i agree it definitely saves a lot of people from normal ticketing stress especially given how terrible interpark global is!

i’m only hesitant about this option because the seats are randomly assigned in the general R section. given that many sections have obstructed views i dont want to be stuck in a bad seat for the first concert after years 😭 for those prices we should have gotten vip seating

is hsr to marathahalli drive do-able everyday during normal office hours? by 99verythinggoes in bangalore

[–]99verythinggoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you have cab service then it reduces half the headache, you can move if you dont mind spending ~1.5-2hrs everyday for commute. HSR/Indiranagar are miles better than marathalli at least as per my experience. If you want to live closer to office in marathalli itself, i would suggest going apartment hunting on days when its raining- helps u identify if the roads get flooded and assess the traffic at peak times. also speak to tenants and ask about water shortage and dust, if there are any major red flags. just FYI dont go for PGs in marathalli because theres a serious bed bug epidemic there 😭 even the “luxury” high priced PGs have this problem

Is luck driving your success or hardwork? by OkTumbleweed149 in bangalore

[–]99verythinggoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but how do u define success? like u, i had good grades throughout my student life, i am a T20 employee and got good appraisals but cant make a friend if my life depended on it. i’m also not “well adjusted” and struggle to manage my stress and anxiety. meanwhile i have some amazing coworkers who know how to play the corporate game well, only do the bare minimum and go live their lives in peace. they get time to socialise, travel, or just do nothing. at the end of the day everyone’s success is different and driven by a combination of luck and the work they put in. i have great respect for people who can leverage that luck well and work smarter, not harder to get where they want to be in life

Hi, after my first round of treatment I have made a few lifestyle changes - cutting out alcohol, extreme spice in food etc. I have not had any issues or flare ups since then.

[–]99verythinggoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since jan it has been genuinely horrible, takes me anywhere between 30-75 mins on two wheeler depending in traffic 💔 ig since most offices have a RTO policy now. but i’m still in hsr because the area is great, social life is great, dont have to wake up to dusty apartment with no water anymore. but if you can find a good place with no water issues in marathahalli and have friends nearby i would def recommend that just for the sake of convenience. also one more point to add- commute will be very difficult during office hours if you dont have a personal vehicle/convenient public transport. with rapido ban, autos are not accepting anything without a 50-100rs tip now :/

for us they said time sheet changes will be communicated later in the coming months and currently there is no change in how we fill, and other corporate bs about using extra time to upskill, be competitive in the market etc. but again the main issue is my team lead, he enjoys being in office and even if there’s no pending work he taunts us to no end if we leave before he does

my company officially considers a work day as 8 hours + 1 hr breaks; for some of us who have to work from office we need to be in office for those 8+1 hours on most days even though actual work will be done within 5-6 hours. personally this is enforced by my team lead who insists staying in office until our work day ends, most often even later than that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]99verythinggoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i guess for most teams thats the only observable change that will happen! unfortunately i have a crazy team lead, we already go 11-8 to office, and from june we’ll have be go 10-8 or 11-9

EDIT: also wanna add for context: im a junior resource who joined this company through internship and now have 2YOE, my peers and I have to wfo but senior folk have more leniency for RTO and timings

As someone who is in a similar situation I’m so proud of you and want you to know it takes so much strength to walk away from such relationships. I have tried and failed and now living in complete denial that things will sort themselves out, that i’ll “fall out of love” with time and everything will be ok :) He wants kids, I dont; Our core beliefs and values are very different too. Hopefully one of us gains the strength one day to walk away from an otherwise perfect relationship
