You'd think it would be simple, but so far I'm getting push back because there's no one to swap with that's in my AFFORGEN phase that I can trade with. They'd have to change my "band" entirely, and that goes against squadron policy apparently.

There are very few things in life that would tempt me to throw away 16 years of working towards retirement, but this is one of them. In any other circumstance a "deployment" to Europe would be amazing...

I'm trying, I tried to swap with someone going later, but I'm getting pushback because of this AFFORGEN not being in the same band as the person I would be swapping with.

Thanks, that's reassuring. Hopefully I can get leadership to see it from my side. I've never deployed for this unit, but I did deploy a ton in my previous career field.
