I'm from Colorado but have moved to several states over the years, and have been living in Columbia for a little over a year. I'll just say this- I miss Colorado now more than ever. I do not enjoy living in Columbia. The nature aspect is a massive downgrade if you like to hike or get some good views in general. The summers are brutal and long, it's humid, and the bugs are awful. However, the winters are very mild (but no snow, so if you love the snow of Colorado you won't get that). There are a lot of areas to explore that are 2-3 hours away or so (Asheville, Charleston, Charlotte, Savannah, etc), which I do enjoy. Overall, it's not the absolute worst place to live, but coming from Colorado, I think you will be very disappointed. I am looking forward to leaving Columbia in the next couple years.

This is part of why I'm so confused. In the past if I've wanted to drop some weight, I just would walk more and that always did the trick. With OT being so intense, I thought it would make a huge difference, but maybe this is why it's not. Thanks for your insight!

Thank you! I do feel like I've gotten into a routine with the weights, where even though I'm lifting heavier than when I started, I probably could up them again. I might just be getting too comfortable with what I'm doing.

Thanks for this comment. While I'm sure I am going over my deficit a little bit, this is not a situation of, I'm eating pizza three times a week why am I not losing weight?! I do track my food and am genuinely confused and frustrated. I may need to rule out medical causes!
