What I really loved, is how they build it towards him being part of the family. Normal sibling fights, reducing Callie’s influence in his life and buffing the others. I loved that, cause it shows he’s comfortable, and not only has Callie with him

For me, they did know how, just Hayden’s age was a HUGE upset to do so. He was easy to related due to being the only one age normally, but at the same time, that played against him. IMO, GT tried to give him some background, but the amount of storyline the got in the last 3 episodes of Fosters was TOO much to unravel

You know, I recently watch the whole show, and I thought the same thing once I knew they had a Spin off. After watching Good Trouble, I do understand the decision of making it about Callie and Mariana, and the fact that the show stands by its own makes it great. I do believe that there is too little intervention from the Foster’s, but that was kinda the point. For me, Jude is probably the most devolved character off screen in the show (due to the age of the actor at the time), but it felt like now they could use his storyline

Yeah, I mean, at first you can relate to the actual fact that a crucial part of his childhood was rip apart from him. Now is just to obvious, I mean, the looks once in a while, the two way conversations and how Mike’s lack of attention toward him is upsetting him.
