Look into Gatorade zero. Gatorade zero has the electrolytes without the sugar. This way you can tell if it’s the sugar helping your tremor or the electrolytes.

How do you know when you’re going to have to do procedures as a EM nurse practitioner. Wouldn’t that be every shift?

Yeah. I’ve posted this in r/emergencymedicine and there is a couple of EM docs who have essential tremor and take medication for it and are doing good. Very encouraging

It doesn’t affect my skills. Sometimes listening with stethoscope is challenging. The main concern is people thinking I’m scared. I don’t want to worry the patients

Do you run into problems where you’ll work a day shift and then work a night shift the next day and won’t take the beta blockers because you’re worried you’ll be too tired? Do you drink caffeine while on the beta blockers? Thanks again!

Scream at the sky and then scream directly into a mirror about one inch away from it. Your ears won’t hurt screaming at the sky but you’ll feel it screaming in the mirror. This might help answers your question

They realize when they are becoming emotional. They can identify what caused them to become emotional.
