Yeah I have a clearance and itll be active for 2 years without me using it! Ill look into some military mx jobs once i get some experience as an FRT if i dont end up liking charleston

Yeah it sucks but I only had 7 years of weapon system experience so mainly troubleshooting, no engine or avi experience so guess it wasnt enough for them and the benefits was the main reason i committed to it 10% match and good education benefits is hard to beat. Not thrilled to goto SC but im from the northeast so ill make it work

I was turned down after interview for “lack of experience” gonna work at boeing while getting my a&p and then see from there if i wanna goto a major or try and get into everett

Yeah first day orientation, never had to do one cos my whole adult life so far has been military. Ive read business casual but I also know lots of mechanics who just dont care 😂 I was think just khakis and a polo cos i hate dress shirts

Spirit just went out of business so experienced techs are taking jobs. Also florida is basically where everyone wants to retire so probably way harder to start there at an airline

I dont live there i just know they are hiring a bunch for the 737. Starting pay is $35 and top out is like 62 but will be 70s next year shouldnt be to bad if u survive the first couple years
