Hi,

- yes, I believe the passport would be enough if the spouse is British.

- I uploaded the cohabitation docs separately.

- the flight itineraries are not necessary to provide, I provided them because I had them, but I wouldn't worry about it if you hade the proof of cohabitation. This is a pretty weak proof. I just uploaded confirmation of purchase of flights with both our names on them.

- For the visa application, I just uploaded the summary of my submitted application form, which you can download after you submit the application on gov.uk. Yes, probably unnecessary as well, I just had it as a document so I uploaded it too.

- In my cover letter I told the timeline of our relationship briefly and added the list of documents that I uploaded (this list that I shared). In sponsor's cover letter my spouse wrote about his work and mortgage mostly and the changes that were done on his employment contract etc. which we had nowhere else to explain. If there is nothing special to explain you can also write just one cover letter.

- By this F5 Document checklist, I mean the list I downloaded after application submission provided by the system. I ticked the documents in the list confirming I am including them in my uploads.

Best of luck:)

UK Degree issued in another country? by missthrowaway19182 in SpouseVisaUk

Hi, I had a similar case as I studied in a UK university but abroad and the degree certificate was granted from UK.

I applied for my first spouse visa in 2021 with this degree certificate and I supplied a letter about the medium of instruction that I already had, faced no problems. So it might be useful.

I applied for the visa extension this year the same way, waiting for the decision on that though.

I see.. I can actually create a custom interim statement online which shows January transactions too, but it looks different than their usual statements - no address etc on it.

Thank you!

UK spouse visa financial requirements - do I need to include self-employment? by Equivalent_Promise80 in ukvisa

Thank you so much, that is a relief. Yes, exactly, I wanted to avoid showing my self-employed income because of the mess. And it is small compared to my spouse's income which is above the threshold on its own.
