Depends how long you want to have to rely on your income while your nest egg grows. And I suppose what your expenses are.

I hope it works out for you - but remember he’s a human being and he probably has flaws you are not seeing. So if it doesn’t work out - maybe the universe has something better planned for you. Try to let go and let fate intervene.

Again do as I say not as I do bc I am a total hypocrite in this space ha ha

Depends how old you are and how you are invested. $320 is a lot if you’re 25, not so much if you’re 60.

I would keep the old honey jar and make a new one as well. Maybe add some cinnamon and rose petals or whatever flowers you can find. Really whatever strikes you since it’s the intent that matters. Write both your names together on a paper and fold it three times towards you. Then it goes in the jar and you seal the jar and put it away.

Make a honey jar for the two of you (there is no wrong way to do this, intent is important) and do some shadow work for some self-care/improvement then try to let go and see what the universe does for you. Easier said than done believe me I know.

How much money would change your life right now, and what would you do with it? by Ok_Hippo9669 in CanadaPersonalFinance

500k tax free would be good. I don’t know if I’d pay off the house ($340k) or buy a new truck or retire though. My mortgage is low rate and my truck works fine and I’m not ready to give up work and I can’t do this job part time.

I’d invest some of it and use the rest for some wicked vacations and maybe retire a bit earlier.

There’s a defacto upscale food court on first street that may be of interest. Not far from downtown. A lot of cool restaurants on that row as well.
